Terms of website.

The stated prices on this website are approximate values of products offered. Because each customer has different requirements there may be different charges different products are ordered.

The information included in this site does not constitute a sale nor an agreement to sell products or services to anyone without a written agreement between both parties.

Custom orders may incur different fees and charges to them, although we have tried to give a detailed description of products and services offered in the different package types.

Customer Responsibilities.
By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you agree to the following:

You have communicated your order as accurately and clearly as possible.
You have given us a current email address, contact name, and phone number – this is how we let you know your proof is ready, and/or ask questions to clarify your order (we don’t share your contact info with anyone)!
You are responsible for approving your proof, whether online or in person. We cannot move your order into production unless your proof has been approved by you.
Understand that repeated design changes and complex art setups may result in additional charges which will be quoted before proceeding on additional proof work.

Payment, Cancellations and Other Processing Fees
We take cash, check, and Paypal payments online. A confirmation receipt will be generated at the time of payment processing. Once you approve a proof, a charge will be incurred to change an approved order. If you need to make any changes to your order please email or call us for assistance. We reserve the right to assess fees to any order or line item cancellations for services rendered.

Turnaround Time
Production times are based upon proof approval. Proofs not approved by the customer will likely result in increased turnaround time. Production times are estimated and not guaranteed. RUSH orders cost extra, and we guarantee completion date. We are not responsible for shipping time in transit estimates, although we may quote them. If your order is time sensitive then we suggest you upgrade your shipping to reflect a rush delivery.

A key factor in turnaround time is Proofing. Merit Marketing Services currently proofs all custom design orders. To follow up on proof approval, Merit Marketing Services’ staff may attempt to contact customer using phone number provided, but is not required to do so. Merit Marketing Services is not responsible for orders delayed due to a customer not approving their proof.

Order Cancellations BEFORE order completion
Please be aware that it may not be possible to cancel your order once your products are in production. If your circumstances have changed, the Merit Marketing Services’ staff will make every effort to stop your order as quickly as possible to minimize your expense. In rare circumstances, when it is determined to be in the best interest of all parties involved, we reserve the right to cancel or refund a customer’s order less fees for services rendered regardless of the consent of the customer.

Return Policy
Because every custom order is made just for you, we cannot accept returns. However, stock items may be returned at no cost to you if items are in original condition and request is made in writing (email) within 7 days of delivery. Of course if the order is in our error, we will gladly refund shipping costs.

Exchange Policy
Because every custom order is made just for you, we cannot accept exchanges. However, stock items may be exchanged for credit if items are in original condition and request is made in writing (email) within 30 days of delivery. Of course shipping charges will apply.

Changes to your Order DURING proofing
The primary purpose for proofing is for you to approve the final design of your order before moving the order to production. If changes to the text or layout of your custom job are needed after receiving your proof, there will be no additional charge for the first proof. Changing size, colors and quantity or any graphic design work may accrue fees. These charges will be billed to the credit card on file unless alternate payment is provided by customer at the time of changes. Help us keep our prices low by communicating with as much detail as possible so we can get it right the first time.

Changes to your Order AFTER Proof Approval
It is possible that once your order has reached a certain point in production, changes may not be possible. If changes to the text or layout of your custom product are needed AFTER the PROOF APPROVAL, a minimum $50 charge will apply and we will do our best to work with you to meet your needs. If you need to make changes, please call 740-607-7800 as soon as possible. Please do not rely on email or fax to communicate your changes.

If changes are made that result in a credit, customer can apply credit to any product we have available. Merit Marketing Services is not required to refund the purchase amount to the customer. If there are additional charges, we will charge the difference to the credit card on file when we ship or complete your order.

Mistake by Merit Marketing Services
Mistakes happen, and when it is our fault Merit Marketing Services is happy to redo your order at no additional charge to you. We will ask for you to return the order in question and may also request pictures of the error. It is the prerogative of Merit Marketing Services to offer a discount on the mistaken order, should you, the customer, be interested in keeping the mistaken order.

Pickup Orders
If you are planning to have a third party pick up your order (i.e. FedEx, USPS or UPS), we will provide package dimensions and weight info upon request. We WILL NOT arrange for third party pickup for you – if you would like your own shipping service to pick up your order, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for all arrangements and payment. We are not responsible for orders left for longer than 3 months.

Orders “LOST” by Third Party Shipping Company
Merit Marketing Services ships all orders by the most practical shipping provider based on the product. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. We send the tracking number to the customer, via email, when the order ships. We do not require a signature from the receiver. The shipping provider will leave the shipment in a “safe place”, or leave a note for the customer to pick up the shipment at the local shipping station. If the customer does not receive the order, and the shipping provider indicates that the order was delivered, then Merit Marketing Services will file a claim with the shipping provider. If the shipping provider determines that the shipment is lost due to a shipper error, then Merit Marketing Services will reprint the order and ship it to the customer as quickly as possible at no charge. If the shipping provider concludes that the order was not lost or it was misplaced by the customer, then Merit Marketing Services will not replace the order.

Orders Inactive for 3 Months
If for any reason an order is inactive for 3 months Merit Marketing Services reserves the right to convert payment to a store credit. We will first make numerous attempts to re-establish contact with the customer to finalize the order before action is taken. This will be good for one time use for the dollar amount specified in the email off your next purchase with us and will be valid for 1 year. If for any reason you know that your order will need to be held for longer than this duration please contact us at 740-607-7800.

Color Matching and Variations
Merit Marketing Services does not offer color matching on screen-printed or vinyl signs. We CANNOT GUARANTEE color matching.

The information, material and related graphics available on this Web site (“Materials”) are provided by Merit Marketing Services (referred to herein as “Merit Marketing Services” or “we”). The following terms and conditions govern use of this site. By using this site you agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding use of this site. Orders
